Glen's work is permently displayed at Palm Pointe Realty 21 Royal Palm Pointe, Vero Beach Fl. 32960. This beautiful office is a perfect venue for her work. She lives close by so it's easy to meet her there, and the art is constantly changing. Glen Bottalico owned and operated her own gallery on Ocean Drive in Vero Beach, Florida from 1984 to 2005. Tropical landscapes through windows, or full size animals are just a few of the pieces Glen has created for many years. She began painting wall murals in her native England at the Rochdale college of Art, and later studied art in Rhode Island. She perfected her art during the day, and by night performed American and English folk music as a singer/songwriter and guitar player. Large pieces have been her favorite for many years, some can be seen in local establishments throughout Florida. Because the murals are applied like wallpaper, they are easily shipped anywhere. Some have gone as far as Africa, England, and Canada. Many clients, and designers have taken advantage of the huge flexibiliy of this medium.
The website contains a selection of paintings you can view under the WINDOWS tab. Some paintings are completed and available for sale. Others can inspire a custom creation. You can also browse a collection of CUSTOM work. These selections span over several years of exciting projects. The WILDLIFE catagory shows her large animal canvases. They are available for sale at Meghan Candlers Gallery while others are past works.
All artwork is acrylic on canvas. This means that the artwork can be placed anywhere and not affected by sunlight, heat or moisture. Paintings can also be done in a gallery wrap. The canvas is wrapped around to the back of the painting and is another variation to framing. If you have questions, call 772-538-8048 Enjoy the site!
