Glen Bottalico owned and operated her own gallery on Ocean Drive in Vero Beach, Florida for over 25 years. She now shows exclusively at Shells & Things 3119 Ocean Drive. Local landscapes through windows, or full size animals are just a few of the pieces Glen has created for many years. She began painting wall murals in her native England at the Rochdale college of Art, and later studied art in Rhode Island. She perfected her art during the day, and by night performed American and English folk music as a singer/songwriter and guitar player. Large pieces have been her favorite for many years, some can be seen in local establishments throughout Florida. Because the murals are applied like wallpaper, they are easily shipped anywhere. Some have gone as far as Africa, England,and Canada. Many clients, and designers have taken advantage of the huge flexibility of this medium. All artwork is acrylic on canvas, or wood. This means that the artwork can be placed anywhere and not affected by sunlight, heat or moisture. Paintings can also be done in a gallery wrap.
